my first day in law school
is over. time to read and brief cases for tuesday´s classes.
i think i may keep this thing up as a study break to write and remember my experiences in Bolivia. and don´t worry, i´ll be repping for the Bolivians in law school.
Aug 6th was Bolivian Independence Day. i celebrated with the 1.5 Bolivians in Dallas. wore my Bolivian ribbon to see Julius Papp. (see new pic) i pretended to dance a bit - caporales and tinku, pretended because i didnt learn all of it. last year, the Association of Bolivians in Dallas had a function but never returned our phone calls in trying to find out where. this year, it wasn´t even published. hmmmm. but i did meet another Bolivian, the boyfriend of one of my new classmates. his mother is from Trinidad. that brings the count up to 2.
