my Bolivian friend Shana is visiting this weekend!! she's really American but i met her in Bolivia so i just call her my Bolivian friend. everyone seems disappointed to find out she isn't really Bolivian. lucky Shana has a twin who works for American Airlines so she is going back to Bolivia in October for 3 months.

it was great to reminisce about Cbba with someone who knows what i'm talking about and doesn't get tired hearing about it. we talked about everything we miss and caught up on the friends we made there.

we went to Zaguan this morning to have jugos con leche, just like we used to do after bellydancing class at Duarte's Cafe. but they weren't the same. not fluffy enough! and no yapa! but they do have Inca Kola and the colombian version of cunapes. and empanadas and pan de dulce de leche. yum. but much pricier here. $3.29 instead of 5 bs!! i could really go for some sopa de mani right now. i need to pick up jeremy's blender. it's rainy and a lil chilly here, even with my poncho (which are all the rage here!).

ok, i need to finish my legal writing homework and brief for property before we go see an indie rock band with a Bolivian in it!
